Welcome to the new Central Texas Military Museum

Grand Opening & Dedication - 1:00 PM on 9 November 2019

The Central Texas Military Museum is sponsored by the Buda VFW Post 12161 and operates with volunteers from the VFW, American Legion, AmVets and the local community. The purpose of the museum is to preserve the history of local individuals and units in the defense of the United States. The pre-eminent activity of the museum is to be a resource to educate people on the contributions and sacrifices made in the defense of freedom..... in active wars, the Cold-War and in peace.

We accept donations of items, uniforms, documents, or money. We also are glad to accept items on loan, to be returned on request.
